Gwen has been a professional student of retail trends and shopper behavior for over 30 years. While running WPP’s Global Retail Practice, she shopped the planet for assets to extend WPP’s leadership in all areas of commerce. Charged with identifying issues most important to retailers and brands around the world, she shares new shopper-facing technologies and consumer insights to business audiences including NRF and Retail Leader’s Forum.

In addition to writing for the Robin Report, Gwen’s work has been published in HBR and Journal of Brand Strategy. She contributed to the recent book, Voice Marketing and serves as Sentior Advisor to Open Voice Network. As a consultant, Gwen tackles new selling strategies in a disruptive landscape. Her current project for University of Arizona is transforming a campus bookstore that no longer sells books.
